Erhard Muhr GmbH is the heart of the Muhr Group and was founded in 1959 in Brannenburg, Bavaria. Today, Muhr delivers machines and facilities worldwide, which are used in fields as diverse as hydropower, waste water, process and cooling water as well as loading and mixing technology.

The Muhr Group employs 150 people at 5 locations in Europe and Asia. It carries out major international projects ranging from a loading station in Mexico to a hydraulic screen cleaner for a dam in Newfoundland to the renewal of the wastewater system of the city of Singapore.

Muhr offers industry-shaping solutions in the areas of species and landscape protection as well as for the future topic of flood protection. As a long-standing cooperation partner of the Technical University of Munich and other European universities, Muhr regularly accompanies research projects up to market maturity – currently, for example, a river cleaning system for polluted river courses in Southeast Asia in order to contain the formation of oceanic microplastics.
